For 8th grade, our family has decided to enroll our students in Power Homeschool courses. This allows a soft transition to online school in high school, which provides opportunities for dual-enrollment and college preparation. In order to fulfill Utah standards for 8th grade, our children are taking the following courses: Pre-Algebra, Grammar and Composition 3, Physical Science, Introduction to United States History, Middle School Health, Stem 2: JavaScript, and a Foreign Language Course of their choice. These lessons will be supplemented with the lessons below, a fine arts class of their choice (dance, theatre, music, visual arts, media), sports and other physical activities to ensure all standards are covered.
